Climbing the Ben

Scotland is one of the most scenic and beautiful countries in the world. People travel from all over to traipse their way through the highlands and get themselves a taste of the brutal weather Scotland is famous for. It’s also home to the largest mountain in the British Isles as Ben Nevis rises a heady 1,345 metres above sea level and hiking it is by no means an easy feat.

Spider-Man: Far From Making Much Sense…

It was always going to be an impossible task for Marvel to remain at the peak after Endgame in terms of quality in storytelling, action and cinematic experience. It was never going to happen because it physically wasn’t feasible. Endgame was the result of years of work finally coming together, so I went into Spider-Man: Far From Home with much lower expectations whilst still hoping for a good movie. I’m still not really sure what I got… Continue reading “Spider-Man: Far From Making Much Sense…”

New Lick of Paint for Cineworld

Sure there’s Apex, but I can only play it for an hour or so before I begin to feel burnt out with it. So instead, I’ve decided to try something a little different with my Twitch streams in the future. Continue reading “Trying Something Different”

Tolkien’s Back in the Limelight

It’s a good time to be a fan of The Lord of the Rings. Eighteen years after the release of The Fellowship of the Ring in cinemas and five years after Peter Jackson finally set down the torch he’d been carrying for Middle Earth with the conclusion of The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, fans are once again set to revisit Middle Earth and I absolutely can’t wait! Continue reading “Tolkien’s Back in the Limelight”

Captain Marvel: Review

Captain Marvel sees the very first movie in the MCU with a female lead, one of the strongest heroes currently in Marvel’s roster. With rumours running riot that she’s set to take over as the head of the Cinematic Universe from Chris Evans’ Captain America and boasting powers that make the Hulk look like nothing more than a minor temper tantrum, Brie Larson is set to spearhead a new era of heroes and inclusivity to the Avengers and it’s not a moment too soon.
